Meeting the challenge safely

We invests its time and money into making sure each employee goes home in the same condition that they showed up to the work site. This invest insures that our employees have the proper equipment and training to do the work and that out customer can be confident in the work being done safely.

If the particular project has any special safety requirements, they are discussed prior to their departure to the site. A safety card is issued to the new employee to carry in their toolbox as a regular reminder of our priority on safety.

Long Electric stresses a QUALITY job. Our foremen are trained to be conscious of the quality of work installed. We use foremen meetings to keep supervisors up to date on the latest products the National Electric Code and all local codes. Any project with special needs is reviewed and discussed before our employee begins on the worksite.

All of our projects are kept up to date with the latest OSHA and customer safety policies, by the utilization of a weekly safety meeting with all on-site LONG TEAM members. A significant portion of our field personnel has already been certified through the OSHA Ten Hour and Thirty-Hour training programs.
